Methodology
A transparent way to make AI readiness discussable.
The assessment is a structured, self-reported reflection informed by independent Data and AI transformation experience. It is designed to support an executive conversation—not to act as a peer benchmark, audit, certification, or implementation plan.

How scoring works
For every question, you choose one of four observable states: Not in place, Emerging, Established, or Embedded. The choices receive values of 1 through 4. Each dimension score is the average of its four answers, converted to a 0–100 scale. The AI Reality Score is the rounded average of the six dimension scores.
The three immediate priorities are the three lowest-scoring dimensions. Ties are resolved in the displayed dimension order, so the result is deterministic and repeatable for the same responses.
This is a Readiness Profile, not an external benchmark. It does not compare your organisation with a peer group and makes no percentile, ranking, or anonymised-data claim.
Maturity stages
Exploring
0–19
AI intent is emerging, with foundational decisions still to be made.
Experimenting
20–39
Pockets of activity exist, but practices are not yet reliable or connected.
Building
40–59
Core capabilities are taking shape and priority delivery can become more repeatable.
Scaling
60–79
The organisation is extending proven practices with clearer operating discipline.
Operating
80–100
AI capability is embedded, measured, and continuously improved in business operations.
